Today, cloud computing services offer a wide range of features, from basic storage, networking, and processing power to natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and traditional office programs. Any service that doesn't require you to be physically close to your computer hardware can now be offered over the cloud. There are different kinds of cloud environments, which are also called "cloud deployment models."
Depending on their needs, businesses can choose to run their applications on public, private, community, or hybrid clouds. Cloud can have any of the four types of access: Public, Private, Hybrid, and Community as shown in the following figure.
1: Public Cloud: The public cloud makes it easy for systems and services to be used by everyone. Because they are open, public clouds may be less safe. The sites of a cloud computing company that offers the cloud service are where all of the computing infrastructures are located. It can be accessed by many businesses through the internet, and they only pay for it when they use it.
Example: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
2: Private Cloud: With the private cloud, systems and services within an organization can be used. The fact that it is private makes it safer. We host all of our computing infrastructure ourselves and don't share it with anyone else. When you use a private network, security and control are at their best.
3: Community Cloud: A number of organizations can access the systems and services through the community cloud. Organizations that share a common objective or are a part of a particular community share a community cloud. (professional community, geographic community, etc.).
4: Hybrid Cloud: The hybrid cloud combines public and private clouds; critical tasks are carried out in the private cloud, while non-critical tasks are completed in the public cloud. In accordance with the intended use, it utilizes both private and public clouds. In order to keep your most crucial applications more secure, you host them on your own servers while hosting secondary applications elsewhere.
Eg. Certain sets of data may be required to be kept on-premises in highly regulated industries, while other workloads may be allowed to reside in the public cloud. Utilized by Netflix. Google Drive is a hybrid of a cloud storage service and a cloud computing platform thanks to Google Docs.
