Evolution of the AI

Artificial Intelligence is not a new term or technology for researchers. There is a lot more history behind this technology than you might think. There are references to mechanical men in Greek and Egyptian mythology. Following are some historic milestones in the development of modern Al. It was John McCarthy, Alan Turing, Marvin Minsky, Allen Newell, and Herbert A. Simon was named the "founding father" of artificial intelligence.

Year 1943: Warren McCulloch and Walter Pits created the first work that is now known as Al in 1943. An artificial neuron model was proposed by them.

Year 1949: Donald Hebb demonstrated an updating rule for modifying neuronal connectivity in 1949. Hebbian learning is now known as his rule.

Year 1950: An English mathematician named Alan Turing pioneered the field of Machine Learning in 1950. Alan Turing proposed a test to measure whether a machine can exhibit intelligent behavior equivalent to human intelligence in his book "Computing Machinery and Intelligence". This test was known as the Turing test.

Year 1955: Allen Newell and Herbert A. Simon created the "first artificial intelligence program," Logic Theorist, in 1955. This program proved 38 of 52 Mathematics theorems while also discovering new and more elegant proofs for some of them.

Year 1956: At the Dartmouth Conference, American computer scientist John McCarthy introduced the term "Artificial Intelligence." Al has been referred to as an academic field for the first time.

Year 1966: Researchers focused on developing algorithms to solve mathematical problems. In 1966, Joseph Weizenbaum developed the first chatbot, ELIZA.

Year 1972: Japan built the first intelligent humanoid robot. WABOT-I was its name.
